Rescoring Tests

Rescoring applies a different mark so that you can score a test a second time. Other than that, the Rescore button functions exactly the same as the Start button.

Some reasons to rescore a test are:

• If a question caused confusion, and you want to rescore the test with that question omitted.
• If you give the students a chance to erase their incorrect answers and try again.
• If you scan the wrong key.

To rescore a test:

	1. Press the Rescore button.
	2. Feed the key(s) and the test forms as you would normally.
	NOTE: Rescoring applies a different mark so that you can distinguish between scorings.
	3. (optional) Feed the item analysis form(s) as you would normally.
